The Game
Jumpdive expands on the traditional run & jump, pounce on enemies, and reach the end style of platforming.
Jumpdive features a new moveset, new abilities, new collectables, new objectives, and a new level design philosophy.
Moveset & Abilities
New types of jumps include the double & triple jump, side flip jump, backflip, forward jump, forward dive & rollout, and wall jump.
Combine jumps and dives to do jump dives, chain them together to conserve high speed momentum for a faster experience.
Different attacks & projectiles include the punch & kick, sliding kick, sweep kick, jump kick, and shooting & throwing items.
Objectives & Collectables
Level objectives include finding exits, fighting bosses, collecting items, solving puzzles, and completing minigames.
Special collectables can help to beat a part of an objective, can increase jump height or forward movement speed, or can give extra special limited time abilities.
Design Philosophy
Jumpdive is designed with the previous attributes in mind, as well as tons of open endedness to allow for diverse nonlinear experiences.
